About León Gallery
On its 10th year, León Gallery marks its many seasons of firsts: The first Alfonso Ossorio retrospective in his home country, introducing him to a new generation of collectors; the milestone Filipinos in the Gilded Age which assembled the greatest number of 19th century treasures; the first exhibit in the last 50 years to memorialize the iconic Philippine Art Gallery (PAG); the first Philippine exhibition of works by Nam June Paik, father of video art, mounted in collaboration with Gagosian Gallery, another first. Its very first exhibit commemorated The Jim and Reed Pfeufer Collection: A Four-Decade Friendship with Fernando Zóbel, with 73 works. It is also dedicated to the research, study, & publication of the highest standards by its roster of experts. León Gallery remains path-finding and forward-thinking; having embraced the virtual and digital world even before the current pandemic.
